Head Coach: Donn Tilbury
As a coach, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep passion for soccer to every team I work with. My journey in soccer began when I was 5 with over 13 years of competitive play, during which I won state titles, competed in regional tournaments, and was a part of the Olympic Development Program (ODP). These experiences have shaped my understanding of the game and my approach to coaching.
My coaching style is centered around fostering a positive and encouraging environment. I believe in developing not just skilled players, but also confident and resilient individuals. I focus on building strong fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship. I emphasize the importance of hard work, discipline, and most importantly having fun on the field.
For the past 5 years, I have had the privilege of coaching school and recreational soccer for both of my daughter's teams. Currently, I am the coach of the FC Edmonds Girls 2014 Yellow Team. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere where each player feels valued and motivated to reach their full potential. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for the game and to help my players grow both on and off the field. I feel that the camaraderie and teamwork required in sports have taught me valuable life lessons and created bonds that I cherish to this day. I believe these connections are an asset in life, providing a strong support network and enriching my personal and professional relationships.
